FCCLA/EdRising Partnership


Welcome to the Oregon Family, Career and Community Leaders of America & Educators Rising partnership--A joint initiative between two Career and Technical Student Organizations geared for future leaders, educators, and citizens.

This partnership supports two organizations preparing students for college and careers. Through co-curricular programs, members of this partnership gain access to applied learning in the classroom, leadership conferences, career-related competitions, and connection between schools, industry and the community.

Joining this partnership provides students with national affiliated membership in two organizations:

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) 


The mission of FCCLA is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiples roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life though character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career and technical preparation.

Educators Rising (EdRising) 


Educators Rising cultivates highly skills educators by guiding young people on a path to becoming accomplished teachers, beginning in high school and extending through college and into the profession.

Together, with support from the Oregon Career and Technical Education Student Leadership Foundation (OCTESLF) and the Oregon Department of Education (ODE), these organizations serve over 200 members and 16 schools statewide.


Members of the Oregon FCCLA & EdRising partnership only gain nationally affiliated membership in both FCCLA and EdRising! This also includes gaining benefits of being a member for both organizations such as access to organization specific resources, eligibility for competitive events, and opportunities for state and national recognition and awards.

FCCLA = $18 per member + $10 chapter fee
This includes both state and national level dues.

Educators Rising = $18 per member + $10 chapter fee
This includes both state and national level dues.
