Become a Competitive Events Evaluator

We all want to make a difference, but life often gets busy, and our time feels limited. What if just one day of your time could help shape the future of the next generation of leaders? By volunteering as a judge at the Oregon FCCLA State Leadership Conference, you’ll share your expertise, wisdom, and stories with students who are eager to grow. Judging is simple—students need what you already have: real-world knowledge and experience. With a one-day commitment, you’ll guide students as they showcase the projects they’ve been preparing all year, and you’ll play a direct role in helping them succeed in college, their careers, and beyond.

Share Your Expertise, Make an Impact

Your voice matters. As a judge, you’ll sit across from students who have dedicated months of effort, fundraising, and preparation to bring their projects to life. You’ll highlight their strengths, offer meaningful feedback, and encourage them to see where they can grow. To these students, YOU are the person they’ve been working toward impressing, and YOUR feedback is what helps them take the next step forward. Whether you join us for a few hours or return every year, you’ll leave knowing you’ve invested in the future of families, careers, and communities across Oregon.
